Notice of Public Hearing June 19, 2013

The Granville Village Council has scheduled a public hearing to request public comment for Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at 7:30pm in the Granville Village Council Chambers, 141 East Broadway, for the following: 

Ordinance No. 09-2013, An Ordinance to Approve a Minor Amendment to the Site Development Plan for Spring Hill Baptist Church for the Granville Christian Academy 

Spring Hills Baptist Church, located at 1820 Newark-Granville Road, submitted a minor amendment to their final development plan to allow for a modular classroom unit to be located at the rear of the existing church/Granville Christian Academy.   The Granville Planning Commission approved the application with provisions. 

The Granville Village Council will hear the following applications and request public comment at its meeting on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at 7:30pm in the Village Council Chambers, 141 East Broadway: 

Resolution No. 2013-12, A Resolution to Permit the Demolition of a Single Family House at 2486 Newark-Granville Road 

A request for a permit to demolish a single family structure, Application #2012-189, submitted by Gordon Jeffery, on behalf of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, for the property located at 2486 Newark-Granville Road.  The request is for the structural demolition of a single-family structure and the property is zoned Planned Unit Development District (PUD).

Resolution No. 2013-40, A Resolution to Permit the Structural Demolition of a One-Story, Detached Garage 311 East College Street. 

A request for a permit to demolish a garage with an attached lean-to, Application #2013-50, has been submitted by Brett Black, Gibraltar Custom Builders, on behalf of Andrew &  Monica Doud for the property located at 311 East College Street.  The property is zoned Village Residential District (VRD) and is located within the Architectural Review Overlay District (AROD).  The structure was approved for demolition by the Planning Commission and was found to hold no specific historical value by the Granville Historical Society. 

Resolution No. 2013-41, A Resolution to Permit the Demolition of a One-Story, Detached Garage at 215 South Cherry Street. 

A request for a permit to demolish a one-story, detached garage, Application #2013-56, has been submitted by Sharon Sellitto for the property located at 215 South Cherry Street.  The property is zoned Village Residential District (VRD) and is located within the Architectural Review Overlay District (AROD).  The structure was approved for demolition by the Planning Commission and was found to hold no specific historical value by the Granville Historical Society.
