The Granville Village Council will discuss the following resolutions for demolitions at its meeting on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. in the Village Council Chambers, 141 East Broadway:
Note: The application listed under New Business is “open to the public” but is “not a public hearing.” The only individuals who are permitted to speak at this hearing are those individuals who are the actual “parties” to the matter. The following persons or their attorneys are considered to be parties: the applicant, the owner of the property that is the subject of the application, the owner of property that is adjacent or contiguous to that property that is the subject of the application, and any other person who claims that a direct, present injury or prejudice will occur to a personal property right if the application is approved or denied.
Resolution No. 2016-26, submitted by Steve and Linda Scott, for the property located at 466 North Granger Street. The request is for review and approval of the structural demolition of a one story, single-family structure with an attached garage. The property is zoned Suburban Residential District-B (SRD-B).
Resolution No. 2016-27, submitted by Phil Claggett of NorthPoint Architectural Consultants, on behalf of Russ and Melissa Bow, for the property located at 931 Newark-Granville Road. The request is for review and approval of the structural demolition of a one and one-half story, single-family structure with an attached garage. The property is zoned Suburban Residential District-A (SRD-A).
At its regular meeting on March 2, 2016, the Granville Village Council scheduled a public hearing for March 16, 2016 at 7:30pm in the Granville Village Council Chambers, 141 East Broadway, for the following:
Ordinance No. 01-2016, An Ordinance to Authorize the Village Manager to Extend the Lease Agreement with Denison University for Maintaining a Pathway Between Chapin Place and New Burg Street
This Ordinance would renew the lease agreement with Denison University for the maintenance and use of the pathway link between Chapin Place and New Burg Street. This agreement has worked out favorably for both entities and has the support of the Granville schools.
All legislation is available for review at the Village Offices during regular business hours, which are normally 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. The Village Offices are located at 141 East Broadway.
