At its regular meeting on March 4, 2015, the Granville Village Council scheduled a hearing for March 18, 2015 at 7:30pm in the Granville Village Council Chambers, 141 East Broadway, for the following:
Ordinance No. 03-2015, An Ordinance to Amend Ordinance No. 16-2014 Providing for Adjustments to the Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 2015 and Revising Sums for Operating Expenses
This ordinance is a supplemental appropriation ordinance that would amend the 2015 annual operating budget to account for local funds required for the SR 16 and Cherry Valley Road interchange project and for the Cherry Street Resurfacing Project.
The Village secured LCATS funding at a maximum of 80% of the total project cost for the South Cherry Street resurfacing project. This project is to be coordinated with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT). The Village paid its estimated share to ODOT in the amount of $40,560. The ODOT bid is 9% above the State’s certified estimate. If the Village wishes to pursue the resurfacing project, an additional $3,680 is necessary.
In October of 2012, Village Council passed Resolution No. 2012-45 pledging a maximum of $250,000 in local funds to support the Ohio Department of Transportation’s State Route 16 and Cherry Valley interchange project. As this project was just recently funded, those funds were not included in the 2015 budget. This ordinance would appropriate those funds from the Pathway Reserve Fund. ODOT will be requesting the Village’s share of the project in the next several months.
All legislation is available for review at the Village Offices during regular business hours, which are normally 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. The Village Offices are located at 141 East Broadway.
