VILLAGE OF GRANVILLE - NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
At its regular meeting on May 4, 2011, the Granville Village Council scheduled a public hearing and request for public comment for May 18, 2011 at 7:30pm in the Granville Village Council Chambers, 141 East Broadway, for the following:
Ordinance No. 12-11, An Ordinance Granting a Utility Easement Across Village Owned Property Located at 118 South Main Street to the Ohio Power Company, an Ohio Corporation and a Unit of American Electric Power
This ordinance would grant an easement to the Ohio Power Company, a unit of American Electric Power, to install and maintain power lines across Village owned property directly behind St. Luke’s Episcopal Church and Parish House. This new power line, which would be located underground, would serve the Church, the Historical Society Museum, Opera House Park and other Village users. The line would replace the overhead line that runs overtop the Park National Bank building and allow for the planned expansion of the Granville Historical Society Museum. The cost of this project will be paid for by Ohio Power.
All legislation is available for review at the Village Offices during regular business hours, which are normally 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. The Village Offices are located at 141 East Broadway.
