At its regular meeting on April 20, 2011, the Granville Village Council scheduled a public hearing and request for public comment for May 4, 2011 at 7:30pm in the Granville Village Council Chambers, 141 East Broadway, for the following:
Ordinance No. 07-11, An Ordinance to Amend Section 351.15 of the Codified Ordinances of the Village of Granville Regarding Prohibited and Restricted Parking (THIS ORDINANCE AND PUBLIC HEARING WERE TABLED FROM THE April 20, 2011 MEETING.)
This ordinance would update the Village Code regarding restricted and prohibited parking in Section 351.15. The existing Code does not reflect the current signage and the changes made over the years due to street repaving and stripping.
Ordinance No. 09-11, An Ordinance Adopting the Raccoon Valley Aquifer Wellhead Protection Overlay District Zone Area
This ordinance would amend the official zoning map to designate a Wellhead Protection Overlay District as was prescribed in 1992. The district has not been shown on the zoning map. This action would be in compliance with the Source Water Protection Plan which has been submitted and approved by the EPA.
Ordinance No. 10-11, An Ordinance to Amend Sections 9210.07 and 925.18 of the Codified Ordinances and Adding Section 925.08(h) and (i) to Provide for the Use of Auxiliary Water Meters
This ordinance would permit auxiliary meters to be purchased from the Village and installed by licensed plumbers. For customers opting for auxiliary meters, the ordinance would include a $2.00 meter reading fee each billing period, a minimum $3.55 water charge per month and an annual $25.00 inspection fee.
