NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
VILLAGE OF GRANVILLE BOARD OF ZONING AND BUILDING APPEALS

The Village of Granville Board of Zoning and Building Appeals will hear the following application at its meeting on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in the Village Council Chambers, 141 East Broadway:

    Note:  The applications listed under New Business are “open to the public” but are not "public hearings.” The only individuals who are permitted to speak at these hearings are those individuals who are the actual “parties” to the matter. The following persons or their attorneys are considered to be parties: the applicant, the owner of the property that is the subject of the application, the owner of property that is adjacent or contiguous to that property that is the subject of the application, and any other person who claims that a direct, present injury or prejudice will occur to a personal property right if the application is approved or denied.

New Business:

    Application #2010-67, submitted by Tracee Laing and Paul Hammond for the property located at 494 North Granger Street.  The request is for the following variances:
1)    To reduce the front yard setback from thirty (30') feet to twelve (12') feet, for the     construction of an eight (8') foot by ten (10') foot garden shed; and
2)    To increase the height of the fence in a front yard from forty-two inches to seventy-two     inches, for the construction of a wood dog-ear fence.

    Application #2010-68, submitted by Scott Walker, on behalf of Denison University, for the property located at 200 and 300 Ebaugh Road.  The request is for a conditional use to construct two (2) maintenance buildings.  The property is zoned Institutional District (ID).

    Application #2010-69, submitted by Scott Walker, on behalf of Denison University, for the property located at 400 Ebaugh Road.  The request is for a conditional use for additions to an existing restroom facility, adding team rooms.  The property is zoned Institutional District (ID).
