NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
VILLAGE OF GRANVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION

The Village of Granville Planning Commission will hear the following applications at its meeting on Monday, May 10, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in the Village Council Chambers, 141 East Broadway:

    Note: The applications listed under Old and New Business are “open to the public” but are “not public hearings.” The only individuals who are permitted to speak at this hearing are those individuals who are the actual “parties” to the matter. The following persons or their attorneys are considered to be parties: the applicant, the owner of the property that is the subject of the application, the owner of property that is adjacent or contiguous to that property that is the subject of the application, and any other person who claims that a direct, present injury or prejudice will occur to a personal property right if the application is approved or denied.

Old Business:

Application #2010-55, submitted by Russ Adams, Aaath Company, for the property located at 113 North Prospect Street.  The request is for architectural review and approval of the following items:
1)    Removal of wood sidelights on each side of the entry door and replacement with clear glass,             beveled sidelights on each side;
2)    Replacement of exterior light fixtures on each side of entry door with brass light fixtures; and
3)    Addition of an electrical outlet on the south side of the stairs.
The property is zoned Village Business District (VBD) and is located in the Architectural Review Overlay District (AROD).

New Business:

Application #2010-56, submitted by Ralph Baker, for the property located at 319 Summit Street.  The request is for architectural review and approval to replace the existing slate and shingle roof with SierraGray Oakridge asphaltic dimensional shingles.  The property is zoned Village Residential District (VRD) and is located in the Architectural Review Overlay District (AROD).

Application #2010-60, submitted by Marilyn Sobataka for the property located at 113 North Prospect Street.  The request is for architectural review and approval of a sidewalk sign.  The property is zoned Village Business District (VBD) and is located in the Architectural Review Overlay District (AROD).

Application #2010-61, submitted by Marilyn Sobataka for the property located at 113 North Prospect Street.  The request is for architectural review and approval of a 6.45 square foot projecting sign.  The property is zoned Village Business District (VBD) and is located in the Architectural Review Overlay District (AROD).

Application #2010-36 AMENDED, submitted by Mary Jo Spinks, on behalf of Tickleberry Moon, for the property located at 123 East Broadway.  The request is to amend Application #2010-36 for a wall sign.  The applicant is requesting that the sign font and colors be amended.  The property is zoned Village Business District-B (VBD-B) and is located in the Architectural Review Overlay District (AROD).

Application #2010-63, submitted by Mary Jo Spinks, on behalf of Tickleberry Moon, for the property located at 123 East Broadway.  The request is for architectural review and approval of a sidewalk sign. The property is zoned Village Business District-B (VBD-B) and is located in the Architectural Review Overlay District (AROD).

Application #2010-64, submitted by Ketron Custom Builders, on behalf of Granville Dental (Mark Alexandrunas), for property located at 121 East Broadway.  The request is for a Change of Use from Category “B,” Retail, to Category “C,” Business and Professional Offices, specifically for a dental office and clinic. The property is currently zoned Village Business District-B (VBD-B) and is located in the Architectural Review Overlay District (AROD).

Application #2010-70, submitted by John Paolacci, for the property located at 204 East College Street.  The request is for architectural review and approval of a concrete paver patio in the rear yard and a 42-inch picket fence along College Street.  The property is zoned Village Residential District (VRD) and is located in the Architectural Review Overlay District (AROD).
