NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
VILLAGE OF GRANVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION

The Village of Granville Planning Commission will hear the following applications at its meeting on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in the Village Council Chambers, 141 East Broadway:

Note:  The applications listed under New Business are “open to the public” but are “not public hearings.” The only individuals who are permitted to speak at this hearing are those individuals who are the actual “parties” to the matter. The following persons or their attorneys are considered to be parties: the applicant, the owner of the property that is the subject of the application, the owner of property that is adjacent or contiguous to that property that is the subject of the application, and any other person who claims that a direct, present injury or prejudice will occur to a personal property right if the application is approved or denied.

New Business:

Application #2010-145, submitted by Sharon Sellito for the property located at 215 Cherry Street.  The request is for architectural review and approval of the installation of a wooden, scalloped, white picket fence along the western rear property line.  The property is zoned Village Residential District (VRD) and is located in the Architectural Review Overlay District (AROD).

Application #2010-146, submitted by Michael & Wendy Duffey for the property located at 335 West Elm Street.  The request is for review and approval of the demolition of a one car detached garage located in the rear yard.  The property is zoned Village Residential District (VRD) and is located in the Architectural Review Overlay District (AROD).

Application #2010-147, submitted by Michael & Wendy Duffey for the property located at 335 West Elm Street.  The request is for architectural review and approval of the construction of a new two-car detached garage to be located in the rear yard.  The property is zoned Village Residential District (VRD) and is located in the Architectural Review Overlay District (AROD).

Application #2010-148, submitted by Scott & Martha Keyes for the property located at 418 West Broadway.  The request is for review and approval of conversion of a gravel driveway to a concrete driveway.  The property is zoned Suburban Residential District-B (SRD-B) and is located in the Transportation Corridor Overlay District (TCOD).

Application #2010-151, submitted by Todd & Robin Feil for the property located at 575 West Broadway.  The request is for architectural review and approval of the following:
 1) Construction of a new two-car attached garage to be located on the eastern side of the home;
 2) Expansion of basement in rear of home;
 3) Screened porch addition on the rear of the home, above the expanded basement; and
 4) New deck on the rear of the home, above the expanded basement. 
 The property is zoned Suburban Residential District-C (SRD-C) and is located in the Architectural Review Overlay District (AROD) because the expansion is more than twenty (20%) of the gross livable area of the structure.

Application #2010-152, submitted by Douglas & Maria Hoyt for the property located at 316 West Elm Street.  The request is for architectural review and approval of the following items:
 1) Front porch:  Replace the existing charcoal roof with a standing seam metal roof; and
 2) Northern elevation, rear window:  Removal of single pane window and replacement with three colonial style Anderson 200 Series double hung windows with interior grids.  Replace trim around windows to match existing trim.
 The property is zoned Village Residential District (VRD) and is located in the Architectural Review Overlay District (AROD).

Application #2010-153, submitted by Debi Hartfield for the property located at 327 West Maple Street.  The request is for architectural review and approval, for the rear accessory structure, of the following:
 1) Siding:  Removing stucco and replacing with engineered wood siding on the second & third stories; and
 2) Window trim: Changing the window trim on the south, east and west sides.
 The property is zoned Suburban Residential District-B (SRD-B) and is located in the Architectural Review Overlay District (AROD).

Application #2010-154, submitted by James Crates for the property located at 339 East Maple Street.  The request is for architectural review and approval of the construction of a porch roof over an existing porch on the eastern side of the home.  The property is zoned Suburban Residential District-B (SRD-B) and is located in the Architectural Review Overlay District (AROD).
