WHEREAS, Section 149.39 of the Ohio Revised Code created a records commission composed of the chief executive or his appointed representative, as chairman, and the chief financial officer, the chief legal officer, and a citizen appointed by the chief executive and;
WHEREAS, the functions of the commission are to provide rules for retention and disposal of records of the municipal corporation and to review applications for one-time records disposal and schedules of records retention and disposition,
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Council of Granville, Ohio, that:
Section I: Members of the Granville Records Commission are hereby appointed as follows:
Chairman Beverly Adzic, Village Manager's Designee Chief Fiscal Officer Molly Roberts
Chief Legal Officer Rufus Hurst
Citizen Appointee/Secretary Florence Hoffman
Section II: The Granville Records Commission shall meet a minimum of two times in each year,with the next such meeting scheduled for May 6, 1998.
Section III: This resolution shall take effect immediately upon passage.
