A RESOLUTION TO ADOPT THE DECISION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF GRANVILLE AFFIRMING THE DECISION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION APPROVING APPLICATION NO. 2011-28 WITH CONDITIONS AND ADOPTING DECISION FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS OF FACT
WHEREAS, on April 25, 2011, the Granville Planning Commission approved, with conditions, Application No. 2011-28 that was submitted by Metropolitan Partners for the remodeling of the existing building and the addition of a parking lot and landscaping for the property located at 1919 Lancaster Road; and
WHEREAS, within that approval, the Planning Commission approved the location of a multi-use path along the front of the property located at 1919 Lancaster Road; and
WHEREAS, the decision of the Village Planning Commission was appealed by Dennis Cauchon and a hearing was conducted before the Council on June 1, 2011; and
WHEREAS, on June 1, 2011, the Council voted by a vote of six to zero to affirm the decision of the Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Council desires to formalize its decision of June 1, 2011, in writing; and
WHEREAS, Council has made decision findings and conclusions of fact supporting its decision, attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit "A."
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of Granville, Ohio, that:
Section 1. Pursuant to Sections 1137.01 (j) and (k) of the Codified Ordinances of Granville, Ohio, the Council hereby adopts in writing its decision of June 1, 2011 to affirm the decision of the Planning Commission approving Application No. 2011-28 with conditions and hereby specifically adopts the decision findings and conclusions of fact attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit "A."
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect and be in force immediately upon passage.
