A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO WAIVE THE CAPACITY CHARGE FOR THE GRANVILLE TOWNSHIP SERVICE DEPARTMENT SEWER CONNECTION
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of Granville Township requested that the Village provide sanitary sewer services to their maintenance building on Columbus Road; and
WHEREAS, the Village presently has surplus sanitary sewer services that it can provide to the maintenance building on an exclusive basis; and
WHEREAS, the maintenance building provides more effective and efficient services to the residents of Granville Township, of which the Village is a part; and
WHEREAS, sanitary sewer services to the Township maintenance building is provided by a sewer line constructed by Kendal of Granville and currently maintained as a non-public sewer; and
WHEREAS, Kendal of Granville paid the initial capacity charge to install the sewer line and the Township Trustees have paid Kendal per agreement; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council hereby found and determined that it was in the best interest of the Village to extend sanitary sewer services to the maintenance building.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of Granville, State of Ohio, that:
Section 1. The Village Manager is hereby authorized to waive the capacity charge for the Granville Township service department building sewer connection.
Section 2: This resolution shall take effect immediately upon passage.
